Summer School has officially begun; however, there are challenges that the District higher-ups are still working on.
This is what I know:
- Enrollment is fluid. Students are still being enrolled, disenrolled and moved to other courses
- Due to demand, additional teachers have been hired and are still getting onboard
- The systems that are meant to communicate -- MiSIS, Schoology and Edgenuity -- are experiencing connectivity issues. But there are fancy people working on those issues
- The teachers are AMAZING. They are smart and hard working and friendly. So, I am confident that things will be awesome, once the dust settles
- Norm Day is July 1. So we have another few days to work out the glitches
To check your enrollments, log in to the Parent Portal and click Schoology.
If your desired enrollments do not appear as you had hoped, wait a few hours and check again.
If they still don't appear, email me, and I will see what I can do!
